First, I just wanted to say I've really neglected my blog lately. I know I have. It's no secret! The thing is, when I got pregnant, all I think about is this baby. I'm having a hard time finding motivation to craft at all! It's as if I lost my passion. Because it's been replaced by my little man. So of course my post now is related to him. I just wanted to show all of you my sweet little man's nursery. I suppose I have been crafting but just in different ways! So I thought I'd share my hard work with the masses!
First is my frame wall! I LOVED how this turned out (I still need to add two more frames to the right of the big "S"). This wall cost me $30. I just went to Goodwill and got a bunch of frames and painted them. I filled them with woodgrain papers and other things I had in my craft room. It was a inexpensive and FUN project!
The trees were a decal that I got from THIS Etsy seller. My mom made the bedding for me, since I didn't want a bumper she made teething rails covers.
And of course I had to add a pic of adorable baby boy clothes. :)
The quote above the glider says "Loved you yesterday, love you still, always have, always will." I used the top of a $8 Ikea table and used some foam stamps and paint laying around to make it!
Lastly, I made this bunting for his window using the left over fabric from the bedding! The little white one is a woodgrain pattern!
All in all, I love how it turned out. It's such a calming room and I find myself spending time in there just sitting. I really hope our Sawyer loves it as much as we do!!
