I wish to be a fish

Going along with my beach theme, I decided to do a fish scrapbook layout. I don't have any pictures to put in it yet and I haven't done any journaling yet either. I'm sure I'll find the perfect photo for this layout. I usually have the photos first, then I do the layout, but this one just came to me! Hope you like it!

Beachie

I live in Hawaii so the beach is always inspiring me. I thought it would be cute to have a banner in my ocean themed bathroom above where we hang our bathing suits. I just loved how it turned out!

Cricut RX

Well... I'll be Cricutless for the next few weeks or so. I noticed when I was making cards yesterday that my machine was a little off... I was trying to cut a "o" and it came out as a oval with one side skinnier than the other. I've noticed too on past projects that it never cut perfectly. Almost as if the calibration was off. So, I called Provo Craft and they were kind enough to offer to pay for shipping of my machine back and send me a brand new one! I've heard all kinds of bad stuff about Provo Craft, but the customer service I got was outstanding! No questions asked, they are just going to send me a new one. I can't wait till I get that new puppy in the mail so I can pick up where I left off!

Finally finished my Father's Day cards!

I've been putting crafting off for a while... With crazy a work schedule and lack of space (we live in a 600 sq ft apt) sometimes crafting is hard to fit in. But I finally decided that I couldn't wait any longer! I have 4 Dads to make a card for!

First off, this is my big brother's first Father's Day. He has a almost 1 month old little girl so he finally gets to celebrate Father's Day for HIMSELF! Here's the card I made for him:

I'm so happy with the way it turned out! I hope he will be too. ^_^

Secondly, we have my "Step Father-In-Law" not nearly as confusing as it sounds. :o) He's a huge Oregon Ducks fan (as we all are in this family) and I wanted his Father's Day card to be U of O themed!

Now we are on to my Dad. I was positive I wanted my Dad's card to have bright colors, to match his bright personality. I still firmly believe that while there are others who are close, no one beats my Dad. :o)

Now we're onto my Father-In-Law. I actually saw almost this exact card is a "Paper Crafts" magazine, I realized that I had almost all of the things I needed (including the EXACT paper!) so I decided to make it! I'm so happy I did because this card fits my Father-In-Law perfectly. I love being able to use other peoples great ideas. It's one of my favorite things about the crafting community.

I had a lot of fun making these cards today. I didn't expect to knock out all 4 in one scrap sitting!
