One frame, several pieces!

Ok, I want to start by saying, no, I'm not pregnant. I just saw this on a blog and thought it was such a cute idea and wanted to try to make it myself. Someday I'll be pregnant, and my friends are all getting pregnant. So I can share them!

Anyhoo, I think pregnant bellies are so cute and a pregnancy is worth documenting! So why not do it cutely? My thought exactly. So here's an idea to spruce up your maternity pics! Enjoy!

Remove the glass from the frame if you want to make it pop and 3d!

One for each week (or every two weeks) you are pregnant! -or- You can use it for however many months old your baby is, or years even! The possibilities are endless!

Supplies used:
Cartridges: Ribbons and Rosettes - For rosettes and border, I used 'Crown 3' at 3" for the rosettes and the border was cut at 2". And the numbers were cut at 3.5" out of the Storybook Cartridge.

The Queen Bee!

Alrighty, it's my turn again! My turn to post for The Scrapbooking Queen's Royal Court Design Team! I have to say, I've been having a blast with her new stamps. I've made several projects and just couldn't decide which I was going to use! But I made a decision (finally) and here it is!

I made this little journal and had it sitting around for a while. I've wanted to dress it up, but didn't know with what. Well, I saw the "The Queen Bee" stamp and the idea came instantly (I love it when that happens!). So here it is! Enjoy!

First, I used my first wobble!! I put my little bee on a wobble and I thought she was the perfect subject for one! I totally am addicted now. Second, I used the "The Queen-Bee" stamp from Royal Sayings (one of my favorites). I used black embossing powder and embossed it. (I'm kinda bummed because my VersaMark ink pad is on it's last leg of life, I think it could have stamped better)

Here's a view of the little pages inside. The journal measures at 5"x7" so I could put it into a envelope and send it to someone! You could even make one with less pages, and make it a big card that a lot of people can write in!

Finally, I used The Scrapbooking Queen's twine in Princess Pink. And adorned the rest of the journal with The Queen's newest items in her Royal Shoppe, Royal Jewels!!

Post Mother's Day, Mother's Day card!

Ok, so I know it's the day AFTER mothers day, and all has died down. But the recipient of this card reads my blog and I didn't want her to see it early. ^_^

I had this idea to use a photo for her card. This was her first mothers day. She's a beautiful person/mother and her daughter is following very closely in her footsteps. Anyhoo, here's the card I made her for mothers day. Enjoy!

Dual purpose tags!

I recently, got a birthday gift for my niece who is turning 1 on Friday! The thing is, is it's super big and oddly shaped which called for a gift bag. With little gift bags there is a whole lot you can do to make it super cute. It's harder with the bigger bags because of all the surface area that needs to be covered. That can turn into a lot of work. So I decided to make her a tag that could also be used as a wall or door hanging. It can be put in a frame with a pretty color of scrap paper behind it. You can put it in a scrapbook page or just keep it as a tag for large bags. I can imagine doing a tag for a little boy with his initial or name in it that looks like a superhero cape!! Anyhoo, this tag is about 9 1/2 tall and 6 1/4 wide. I love the way it turned out! Enjoy!

Fit for a Princess!

I'm thrilled to be today's The Scrapbooking Queen Featured Designer!! I'm having so much fun being a part of her team!

So my niece is something of a celebrity for our family. For a few reasons really. Mostly because she's so stinking cute. Also, she's the first baby of my generation (at least for our close family, I have like, a billion cousins). She's the happiest, sweetest little thing. It's odd to not see her smiling! So, obviously she's the perfect subject for The Scrapbooking Queen's stamp set - Princess's Birthday. This picture wasn't taken on her birthday (she hasn't even had one yet!). But the stamps still suit this picture perfectly. As a proud member of The Scrapbooking Queen's Royal Court, it is my royal duty to use this page for my Scrapbooking Queen's Featured Designer post! I've had these butterflies in my stash forever! I love getting the chance to use them. Also, my form of bling is pearls! I don't even own any sparkly gems... Which reminds me... I should get some!

I found this AWESOME stand by Recollections at Michael's! That's what inspired the 8x8 page. I get to make 20 pages to fill it up! I can't wait until I can put it out in my house! I have a lot of work to do!

Tres Mustache

Ok, I have been meaning to do a video tutorial on how to make shaped cards. I make a lot of them and it took me a lot of trial and error to learn. I just need to do it. But to be perfectly honest, I HATE myself on camera. Like, my voice sounds funny and I'm totally awkward. I need to just keep doing it to get over that! Anyhoo, here's another card I made in a shape. Mustaches are awesome, obviously. So why not make someone's day by giving them a mustache card?! That was my thinking. All of it was made using my Silhouette Cameo and printer! Fast, fun, easy! Enjoy!

So, my sister in law is incredibly creative. She's into crafting and scrapbooking too. You should seriously see her scrap book for her baby. It's beautiful! Anyhow, I just wanted to do a quick post from my cell phone, showing you guys a picture of her latest card she put together!

"You are here"

So, I was in Michaels, walking by the stamp section and I found this stamp set that was on sale for $2.99. It's a cute little road trip set. One of the stamps said "you are here", the minute I saw that stamp I had the card made in my head. So naturally, I bought it... ^_^ Enjoy!

I used the Stampin' Up woodgrain stamp for the heart!
