Craftwork Cards Candi:

Hello my fellow Candi enthusiasts!! It's my post day for Craftwork Cards Candi!

Today I'm showing a project I made with my niece as the subject. We went to the park and she had the best time in the leaves. I loved how her little nose got so red! I used Candi for the arrows and a little embellishment on the bottom!

The type of Candi I used today is called "Icing Sugar".

You can find Craftwork Cards Candi at the following online retailers:

12 Days of Christmas: Six Geese a Laying

Day six!!! This is so fun!! Aren't everyone's projects AWESOME?!

Today's project is a fairly simple one. But I love how it turned out and wanted to share it anyways. I think it adds so much to my Christmas decor and it was so easy to make! I got some rusty jingle bells (my fav) and tied them individually to some twine. It didn't take much but it turned out to be such a cute garland that you can put anywhere! I thought it would be cute to do the same thing with smaller bells, using bakers twine and putting it around the tree!

This is a view from my kitchen, I love the little touch they add. Oh and don't mind my pup, he was being stubborn when I was taking pics... LOL!

Washi Wednesday - Christmas!

Well golly am I in the Christmas spirit!!! It's all over the place! For today's Washi Up! Washi Wednesday I've made over a chipboard birdhouse! Yes I do birds a lot. I don't know why, I just realized it today! Maybe my subconscious is trying to tell me something??

I've had several of these little birdhouse ornaments I got from my local craft store laying around. I have painted them, papered them, embellished them, but never Washi'd them! Until now of course. Washi works great on chipboard!! Here's my project! It's in my fake tree right now, until we get our real one. I just can't get rid of that tree, it was my husband and I's first Christmas tree. We lived in Hawaii and real ones were expensive and didn't last long. So we decided for our stay there, we'd use an artificial tree. Now that we're in California, we get a real tree but I still put up this one. So the "Christmas Love" sentiment really does work in this situation. I love this little fake tree. <3

So my question to you is, how are you going to make your holidays brighter with Washi tape??

12 Days of Christmas: Five Golden Rings

Hello, hello!! I hope everyone is having fun hopping along! Now we're on day five of the 12 Days of Christmas Blog hop!

And today I'm showing you my Christmas cards. I'm not sure if everyone in my family reads my blog, but hopefully they don't read it until after they get their cards! LOL They are fairly simple and stamped so they could be mass produced. I had "White Christmas" on TV while I was making them! <3

12 Days of Christmas: Four Calling Birds

EEK! I'm having so much fun! Some people say they wish Christmas was all year, but I don't because I don't think it would be this special anymore. :)

Ok for today's post I made another wreath! I love cardinals so I wanted to incorporate it somehow for the "Four Calling Birds" day!

12 Days of Christmas: Three French Hens

Welcome do day 3 of the 12 Days of Christmas Blog hop!!

I'm really getting into the Christmas spirit now! Wrapping presents and such. That's my favorite part of Christmas, giving presents!! My favorite is the reaction. I am very careful and thoughtful about the gifts I choose. I love getting the reaction!

Here's today's project! This little birdhouse ornament was super fun to make. I made it sometime in October but I still had my Christmas music playing the whole time! And a pine scented candle of course! ^_^

12 Days of Christmas: Two Turtle Doves

Welcome to day 2 of the 12 Days of Christmas blog hop! It's been so fun seeing what everyone has come up with. You'd think that it would be hard coming up with 12 Christmas projects. It surprisingly wasn't! I guess I'm most inspired around Christmas time. :) Maybe it's all of that awesome Christmas music. ^_^

Remember, this is a blog hop so if you are just getting here you'll want to start at the Lisa at  the beginning. If you are already hopping along then you should have come from Sheila's blog!

Ok, for today's project I decided to use this wreath I made! I think I'm on a shabby chic kick at the moment because all of my stuff is starting to look like it. Not that I'm complaining. ;)

12 Days of Christmas: A Partridge in a Pear Tree

Hello everyone and welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop! Many of you know that I have a borderline unhealthy obsession with Christmas. So naturally a blog hop consisting of 12 Christmas projects for 12 days in a row was perfect for me! ^_^

Remember, this is a blog hop so if you are just getting here you'll want to start at the Lisa at  the beginning. If you are already hopping along then you should have come from Sheila's blog!

So, to kick off the first day of the hop, here's my project!

I first made a version of these last year, so I decided to give it a go again this year with some changes. I'm so glad I did, these look so cute on my tree!

For this one, I used microbeads for the snow, I must say I love the look it gives. It looks like it's shimmering.  ^_^
